Here's some info about DC area transportation info that'll get you closer to the jam.  Use the JamRidesCoordination page to post travel requests or offers, but feel free to use the comment form at the bottom of the page to add general transportation info, if you have anything useful.

They have `travel directions to Claymont Court from various regional starting points`_

On weekdays there is a commuter train you can use to get from Union Station in Washington DC to Harper's Ferry, WV, which is around twenty minutes from Claymont Court.  Visit http://www.mtamaryland.com/services/marc/schedulesSystemMaps/Brunswick_sched.cfm and look for the westbound train - note that are only a few in the afternoon that connect w/Harper's Ferry, and weekdays, only.  See the JamRidesCoordination page to arrange for travel from there.

Claymont Court is around an hour and half to two hour car ride from Washington DC.  There is no shortage of airports around DC:

`Reagan National Airport`_ (DCA)
   Raygun National is near DC center, is around one and a half hours from Claymont
   Court by car, and connected to Union Station (where you can catch the occasional
   MARC train; see above) via a local Metro train ride.  See `DCA ground transport`_
   for more details.
`Dulles International Airport`_ (IAD)
   Dulles is around an hour to an hour and a half from Claymont Court, but has no
   direct transportation to Claymont from there - without a car you'll need to use
   `Dulles ground transport`_ to get to DC, and from there use the MARC train, or
   make other arrangements.
`Baltimore Washington International Airport`_ (BWI)
   BWI is around two hours from Claymont Court.  As with Dulles, you can use ground
   transportation to get to Union Station, and use the MARC train from there.  (Visit
